My primary activity from late summer 2010 through all of 2011 was as contract CEO of Riverside Printing. Through aggressive business development and process improvements internally, we returned the company to profitability. I was hired as Director of MIS to build an in-house system. I became Plant Manager, then VP of Production, then VP of Corporate Systems where my responsibilities entailed implementing performance management disciplines I had used successfully in earlier roles.

Working as a consultant in a firm focused specifically on the print, paper, and publishing industries, I sold new accounts, did consulting projects for several companies in the eastern US and participated with Roger Dickerson, CEO, in presenting seminars to PIA affililiates on productivity improvement and waste reduction.

Started as a management trainee after graduate school. I was exposed to all facets of the operations and sales functions of printing companies. At one point or another, I was Customer Service manager, Production manager, and Pressroom manager. I spent a year working with the sales department as we grew our weekly magazine business.
