Dr. Mitchell has been practicing Orthopaedic surgery for twenty five years in the Boston area. His expertise is diverse, with specialty interest in treating Athletic Trauma of all ages and Reconstructive Joint Surgery in Adolescents and Adults. He treats common and complex cartilage, tendon and ligament disorders of major joints (shoulder,knee, elbow and ankle). He has extensive experience treating athletic trauma in the professional, world class, college and school age athlete. He performs minimally invasive Joint Resurfacing and Joint Replacement Surgery of the shoulder and knee.
