-Being a Trustee and Director of the Student’s Union and HudLets.-Chairing the Board of Trustees, HudLets Board and Union Development Committee.-Being a council member and governor of the University Of Huddersfield Council.-Providing strategic direction and leadership for the SU and representing the interests of all students.-Engaging with the University leadership and external stakeholders to make sure student voice is heard.-Overseeing the overall operations of the Student’s Union, overseeing budgets and coordinating with staff.-Working with external stakeholders like Mayor and MP to ensure the students' voice is heard.-Working with the National Students Union towards the national campaigns.-Working with other universities officers on regional campaigns.

-Representing and supporting underrepresented student groups and ensuring there needs and concerns are addressed in university policies and initiatives. -Creating and leading initiatives, workshops and events to promote awareness and understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion on campus.-Leading campaigns to educate the student body on issues like anti-racism, gender equity and accessibility.-Working with the liberation networks and representing students in University Committees and School boards.

-Monitoring stock levels, assist with inventory checks to maintain an organized and well-stocked retail space.-Process payments, manage cash and card transactions and ensure accurate handling of money.-Addressing customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.

- Working on the University strategy which will start from 2025 till 2030 with the senior leadership team and external Council members.-Played a key role in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies to improve student welfare, inclusivity, and academic support.-Collaborated with senior university leadership to shape the strategic vision of the University, focusing on enhancing student experience, mental health resources, and career development opportunities.- Review budgets and financial plans to ensure sound financial management and alignment with strategic priorities.-Represented the voices of thousands of students in council decisions, driving initiatives that addressed key student needs, from mental health support to academic resources.

-Chairing the HudLets Board meeting.-Oversaw the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of HudLets, a student accommodation service affiliated with the Students' Union, ensuring high standards of governance, compliance, and alignment with the University's goals.-Promoting affordable, quality housing options for students, collaborating with local landlords and university officials to improve the standard and accessibility of student accommodations.-Worked with the board and key stakeholders to develop and implement policies that addressed student housing needs, landlord relations, and community impact, focusing on safe and inclusive accommodation options.-Contributed to financial oversight and budgeting to ensure HudLets’ long-term sustainability, aligning housing initiatives with student affordability and market competitiveness.

-Assist in tracking project timelines, preparing project documentation and communicating with the clients to update them about progress of the project.-Assisting in creating reports and presentations, and documents for internal and external use. -Performing research to gather information for market trends or new business opportunities. -Co-ordinating with external vendors and suppliers for materials and services, ensuring timely delivery.

-Efficiently handle, pack, and process incoming and outgoing goods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.-Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records to ensure stock levels are up-to-date.-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, keeping the workspace clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times.

-Greet and welcome guests warmly, managing reservations and seating arrangements to ensure an excellent first impression.-Handle phone calls and online inquiries, providing accurate information about the restaurant, menus, and special events.-Manage guest concerns or special requests promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.

-Assist with order processing and efficiently handle point-of-sale transactions, both in-store and over the phone.-Support team members in various tasks, including food preparation, stock management, and customer service to ensure smooth store operations.
