• Manages the day-to-day operations of the procurement process.• Responsible for all purchasing activities according to company policies and procedures;• Source and negotiate with suppliers in order to secure materials & services at the best price, quality, delivery, and terms;• Ensure materials purchased met the technical specifications and requirements of the project as well as deliver on time; • Liaise closely with Technical Operations on the specifications or any Technical enquiry.• To liase with local / international suppliers on the matter of transporters / shipping companies / freight forwarders on information regarding delivery matters.• Feedback and follow up on the issues arise regarding quality, shortage, and warranty claim with suppliers;• Maintain proper filing of all Purchase Order / Delivery Order / Invoices and etc.;• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

• In-charge of daily operational purchasing needs; verified purchase requisitions i.e. budget utilized information CAPEX/OPEX category. Obtain PR approval and issue PO in accordance with company policy.• Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials and services from both local and oversea vendors.• Assist on tender initiatives for all procurement purchases to ensure transparency, visibility, fairness and compliance on processes in accordance to the OS/OPM• Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specification requirement.• Close communication with vendors on scheduling & delivery progress.• Record materials delivery against Purchase Order update and forward verified invoice and delivery order to account department for payment.• Getting new vendors, open credit facility account with vendor for material supply with terms of payment.• Perform vendor registration/ assessment and re-assessment process for new vendor and registered vendors. To continuously update and maintain Approved Suppliers List.• Prepare monthly report- Purchase Order, Cost Saving, RFQ, Vendor status (new/re-assessment.• Responsible in updating of the Operating Standards (OS) / Operating Procedure Manuals (OPM) in accordance to the departmental operation requirement.• Perform vendor performance evaluation (VPE).• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• To source, select and cost negotiate with suppliers to strive for best purchase price while maintain high level of quality, reliability & service.• Obtain PR approval and issue PO in accordance with company policy.• Responsible for the purchasing process including generating of PO, expediting and updating delivery status, and schedules• To maintain proper records of purchases, quotations, supplier’s information and documentation.• To monitor closely and ensure timely delivery for all orders• To liaise with suppliers on any purchasing activities & maintain good rapport with suppliers • To participate in evaluating and reviewing of suppliers' capabilities• To coordinate with the requestor on details of purchase items• Perform other related duties per required.
