Leading the entire Business Unit or Workcell of Calix in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. • Managing the Total of Ops 1 - Production operation in achieving the total Quality, Output and meeting the delivery with minimum cost impact. • Responsible for any new product transfer from operation standpoint • Responsible for the employees welfare and discipline• As a single point contact and “CHAMPION” Functional Excellence for respective Plant Operation Director.• Developed and created Lean Awareness across Flextronics Penang sites and drive Lean Transformation from ground zero through regular trainings, both classroom & on the Gemba (Shop floor).• Worked with the renowned Shingijutsu consultants in cultivating the Lean culture into entire Penang sites and be a part of change agent that improved Flextronics Penang's productivity with cost benefits, cash flow through inventory reduction, Zero Defect quality with an overall focus on mobilizing/motivating the various teams to get involved in the Kaizen culture. • Weekly reporting on “LEAN” Metrics in the respective OPS as well as encouraging & cultivating more & more “LEAN” culture. implemented like AQM, Cell Manufacturing, Standard work, Lean with Suppliers, Poka Yoke, TPM, Operator involvement• Involved in supporting South Asia sites in best practices deployments across other Flextronics sites in Penang, S.Asia region and Europe. • Assist Global Business Excellence as part of Global Lean Leaders in Lean Transformation mainly in North China driving productivity improvement in Operations, Supply Chain & Office processes.
