Unified Research Computing (provide virtual machine (VM) for researchers using Nutanix Virtualization Technology) e. Campuswide Identity Management (IDM) Services (AD,DNS,DHCP)- Install, configure, and maintain High Performance Computing (HPC) system, network, and software that is running on Red Hat Linux Enteprise 6.5.- Diagnose system operational problems quickly and effectively.- Work closely with users and vendors in supporting HPC environment and resolving hardware and software problems.- Work with vendors to define and implement best practices and standards within the organization.- Tune operating systems and applications to increase performance and reliability of services.- Manage HPC day-to-day operations including downtime, reporting service levels, defining and tracking IT operational metrics, and provide status update to management.
