Project : Melaka Refinery Gasoline Euro 5 Project (FEL 3)Project Description : MRCSB to upgrade the refinery for both PSR-1 and PSR-2 to cater for Gasoline Euro 5 specification as per gazette date by Government (September 2025). The project inclusive the Early Works, FEED, EPCC Award and FIDTasks and Responsibilities:• To manage and track Licensor deliverables• To assist for PMT deliverables preparation during the whole FEL 3 execution period• To manage Process Engineering changes throughout the FEL 3• To continuously provide support and ideas based on FEL 3 execution work as this project is the first PETRONAS project conducting in-house FEL 3• To manage Management of Change (MOC) for Process at the end of FEL 3 and EPCC• Focal point for weekly meeting and weekly update for Process group• Prepare the Project Procedures and Template• Coordinate the Process related Workshops/Studies• Site Visit Coordination• Interfacing Activities• Focal point in registering all process interfacing issues• Follow up on the closure status of every interfacing issues• Attend all interfacing discussion

Process Engineer for the Compact Low Pressure System (CLPS) is a design of the standard LPS package, whereby the main skidded elements of the standard LPS package (Inlet Manifold, Inlet SDV, Production Separator and Transfer Pump) have all been integrated into a single skidded unit with the intent to reduce the package footprint to allow its application on smaller platform structures.The CLPS is capable of accepting any numbers of flowing wells up to a peak production of approximately 4,000 BFPD and a limiting gas cold vent rate of 4.0 MMSCFD.

Project Involvement1. Client : Sabah Shell Petroleum Company (SSPC) Project : Gumusut Kakap Topside Detailed Engineering Project Description : The Gumusut Kakap shall be a semi-submersible Floating Production System FPS) encompasses Blocks J and K offshore Borneo, Northwest of Sabah, Malaysia. The base-case reservoir-management strategy is waterflood with produced gas re-injection. All wells are Subsea. Oil and condensate are exported via a pipeline to shore. The design capacity is 150,000 barrels oil per day.Tasks and Responsibilities:• The focal point in project administrative matters i.e. prepare progress reports, attend project meetings• The focal point for Gumusut Kakap As Built activities• Preparing Design Change Note (DCN) based on any Site Technical Queries (STQ) by client• Working immensely close with the Project team, by assisting the lead process engineer• Produced the Heat and Material Balance (HMBs), PFDs, UFD and P&IDs • Produced the Process Datasheets and Process Instrument Datasheets.• Performed the material and piping class selection based on process fluid and conditions• Performed the line list checking and provide process data for the line list• Updated the Functional Specification• Involved in the HAZOP study • Performed the close-out HAZOP action items• Provided the reply to design query by Lloyd’s Register • Prepared the Drill Center Summary Study for Drill Center B• Prepared the EWI Reports if necessary • Prepared the DCNs if required• Prepared the STQ response if required• Prepared the Final AFC for all Process drawings• Provided the red line mark up for pre As Built Drawings

Working under the Engineering Manager and Lead Process Engineer, I am employed to do the process engineering. I have 5 years working experience with 4years experience in process design. My process engineering experience majorly involved HYSYS Simulation, P&ID, PFDs/UFDs generation, heat and material (HMB) generation, line sizing, scrubber sizing, instrumentation (PSV sizing, RO sizing etc) and HAZOP scribe. Previously, I was working as an application engineer in a software provider company dedicated for oil and gas industry.

I worked as an application engineer for oil and gas software, my main task is to assist the users on any matters that need my assistance. Also travel for software presentation and software training across South East Asia (we handled Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand)
