As one of the first 3 engineers, I've been participating in technical decisions from the very beginning and taking part in architectural decisions, software development lifecycle, hiring processes and internal workflows. As a member of the Platform team, my main contributions were:- Development of Spark jobs for data transport- Monitoring and improving ETLs- Identification and solution of bottlenecks in applications

As a member of the Knowledge Base team, my main contributions were:- Modeling of classifiers for legal documents classification (natural language processing)- Creation of heuristics to improve the effectiveness of the document classification system- Development of Rest APIs to facilitate the request of predictions to classifiers.- Testing, implementation and monitoring of the document classification system

As a member of the Marketplace team, my main contributions were:- Modeling of classifiers to improve the lead pricing system- Modeling of classifiers for churn prediction- Creating dashboards for monitoring business metrics- ETL for organizing data in a data warehouse

- Design, modeling and implementation of a relevance-based image retrieval method based on fusion of rankings in order to improve the results of the first iteration. The results were published in Brazilian Database Symposium- A genetic algorithm model was developed to find the best combination of credibility descriptors, thus refining the results of a given search. The proposed algorithm was implemented in Java and the generated data was analyzed using Python. Partial results were published in the Simpósio Brasileiro de Sistemas Multimídia e Web
