Helping case managers find new job leads for veterans and meet the quart goals for job placements/enrollment. Identify job leads by going to job fairs and networking with employers sharing business cards building a huge networking system.Hosting job fairs every quart at Ohio Means Jobs. Working closely attending all Employer Services Technician events at Ohio Means Jobs networking with different employers becoming the face for the company. Teach veterans how to read job description, going over key words to put in job descriptions. Teach veterans study habits, note taking, how to study for test and pacing themselves, and other educational resources. Working with homeless veterans in soup kitchens, gas stations, shelter houses and food pantry’s. Teaching life skills and listening to others veterans brainstorm ideas to make their life better. Teach 55 veteran Men/ Women at a transitional housing life skills once a week coping skills and becoming a leader in the community, budgeting, finance, hygiene, respect for others.
