My role as a support services manager is to implement and manage established quality improvement program, inclusive of the cleaning, safety, and infection control policies for 20 employees who directly report to me. Conducts annual performance evaluations for those employees. Schedule and maintain weekend schedules for over 50 part-time and full-time individuals while strategically placing them in areas to decrease the usage of excessive overtime. My role also includes reviewing patient satisfaction surveys and scores for discrepancies and overall support services customer satisfaction. My team and I work hand and hand with nursing leadership and help maintain the cleanliness of the environment, patient flow, and to ensure effective communication in relation to the support services operation.
