Special Educator with 22 years of experience in public education. My practical experience includes being a special education teacher, co-teacher in the general education classroom, dyslexia interventionist, transition specialist, and instructional leader at the district level. Throughout my career I have demonstrated strengths in the areas of ARD facilitation, lesson planning and collaboration with general education peers, develop standards-based IEPs that align to the curriculum and provide specially designed instruction for individual students, leadership by developing district level professional development for general and special educators, collaborated with district staff, administrators, and teachers to disaggregate data in order to use it to facilitate the best plan for education advancement.
