About Wanda Geer

Wanda Geer is the President of the Sarita and Claire Wright Lucas Foundation named for her daughter Sarita and granddaughter Claire. The mission of the SCWLF is to support young women of color like Sarita Wright Lucas who are committed to diversity in the law and serving the public by pursuing careers in justice as Prosecutors.Wanda Geer is also CEO of Tartt’s Day Care Centers Inc.; founded in 1946 by her grandmother Bessie Tartt Wilson. Wanda has served as a member of the Boston Children’s Museum Board of Overseers, on the Advisory Panel of the Wellesley Center for Women Early Education’s research project on Infant and Toddler Caregivers, and as a member of the Board of the Bessie Tartt Wilson Initiative for Children. Wanda was featured in Bill Brett’s book Boston Game Changers in 2019. She is a graduate of Boston University.
