Provide clinical supervision to staff working directly with consumers living with IHV/AIDS, substance abuse, and mental illness. Provide psycho-education groups for consumers and participants in substance abuse recovery.Provide community education to Latino immigrant adolescents on HIV/AIDS, STD's, and sexual violence. Provide community education to religious groups on HIV/AIDS, STD's, and sexual violence.

Provided individual and family therapy to outpatient clients, and IHT under CBHI treatment guidelines. Maintained and updated appropriate clients' documentation: assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, CANS, etc in clients' electronic medical record on services provided. Therapist also assisted in providing consultation to school, DCF, and on site medication management provider for Spanish speaking clients; and established positive relationships with a variety of referral sources to facilitate coordination of care and maintaining a referral base.

My responsibilities include coordination of outpatient and CBHI services, staff supervision, on site training, and administrative duties.

Provides outpatient diagnostic evaluations and psycho-therapeutic treatment services to children, adolescents and adults in individual, family, couple, and group therapy; provides consultation and educational services to community groups and agencies in a manner which respects diversity.

Community Liaison provided assistance to students and families with educational and absenteeism issues to prevent and reduce the rate of high school students dropping out from high school. Provided school counseling to students with emotional or family issues. Work in close collaboration with the school guidance department to assist and support high risk students with alternative educational options in order to complete high school education.

Provided substance abuse counseling services to clients in methadone therapy including but not limited to assessment, treatment planning, long-term individual counseling, psycho education groups, case management, advocacy, and follow-up.

Provided full range clinical intervention to inmates experiencing a variety of emotional and behavioral problems to improve behaviors of inmates. Provides psychotherapy of unstructured, supportive, and interpretive nature; daily round check to inmates confined to the restricted lockup unit. Emergency Duty: on call to respond to mental health crises: suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, grave disability, victimization, rape, major depression, mania, panic attacks, grief, break ups or death of a loved one.
