My Mom thought I was crazy! You can image how time consuming it was to empty and refill a heavy waterbed that often, to move from one wall to another, not to mention the rising cost of our water bill. My parents were the best! I can remember visiting friends, and wanting to clean and re-arrange their bedrooms instead of playing a game. Organizing closets/drawers/rooms is another one of my favorite things to do. What is wrong with me?Give me an old pallet, a used end table, some broken frames and see what I come up with! Recycle - Reuse - Refurbish and of course PAINT! I paint everything (even our dock at the cabin is painted with flames). Nothing is off limits.My dear husband, Scott, gets a little nervous when I watch HGTV. He never knows if he will come home to a wall torn down, a new paint color on the wall, a stack of pallets to be cut or another item added to his honey-do-list. He says I have extreme OCD (I am sure he means O=overly C=creative D=determination). I love him so!This passion stirs inside of me. Meeting new people, sharing my talents and enjoying life - that's what it is all about! My favorite saying: Never water yourself down just because someone else cannot handle you at 100%. Life is way to short! So, here I go…
