I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Finance in December 2003. Since then, I’ve accrued work experience ranging from investment advice to classroom management. In addition to my paid work experience after graduation, there was nine years where I was a stay at home parent. I continued gaining valuable work experience through my PTO and PTSO volunteer work monitoring and controlling budgets that exceeded $100k annually. I have gradually built a strong foundation regarding the various tasks and duties required of a physical education teacher. I am familiar with Microsoft Office and have extensive knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint. In addition to the familiarity with Microsoft products, I have experience with the bookkeeping software Quickbooks. Given both my education and experience dealing with both finances and management, I believe that I can contribute to any school. In addition to my recent experience in education, I have over 10 years of restaurant and hotel experience not listed on my resume. Before completing my Bachelors at UCF, I worked at Doubletree, Renaissance Hotels, and Rainforest Café at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
