(Prior to retirement, I was domiciled in Greenwood SC, but employed by USPS Engineering Systems in Merrifield VA).My mission is to mitigate the negative impact of any projects I am engaged to the ultimate customer and the company’s retail associates. That is why I am always striving to deliver better quality software packages and ensure the best customer experience. Software quality is my passion and I apply my wide professional experience to make it excellent. I love the quick pace of my job and highly appreciate situations where fast action plan formulation is required. A retail strategy that I developed, standardizing equipment across platforms and store types is the best evidence for this. It ultimately reduced hardware, software, and logistics support costs, resulting in $2.5M cost savings in one year. The equipment and software I work with is installed on nearly 46,000 terminals at nearly 19,000 locations. It means that I am always focused on immediate support and quick problem resolution. While serving as an Executive over the USPS Engineering Software Process Management group between 2003 & 2008, I institutionalized software configuration and change management, documentation quality, and independent verification/validation. These changes allowed loading our software at field sites without any issues.
