I started with Bridgestone/Firestone in 1991 as a summer Intern for two years. In 1995 I started full-time as a Network Support Assistant and worked my way up to a Project Analyst. PC Network Support Assistant Implemented and rolled out laptop automation pilot project for thirty-three salesmen across the United States. Upon completion scheduled and developed configuration for two hundred plus Windows 95 laptops. These laptops allow remote node connectivity to a Novell 4.1 network. The project included SQL Server replication of fleet databases by tire salesmen. I built and configured NT 3.51 server for SQL server 6.5 for replication, Powerbuilder connectivity, and mainframe DB2 access. I supported and trained all salesmen on their laptops, with operating systems ranging from DOS 4 to Windows 95. Answered computer help desk for eight hundred users and trained in-house users on SMIS and PROFS.Project AnalystsInstall and configure Microsoft NT Servers in multiple locations spanning routers using IPX/SPX and TCP/IP. This involved dual administration in the Netware and NT environment. I built and configure Netware 4.1 server for warehouse occupying around 200 users. I did administration for Netware 3.x and 4.x servers as well as NT 3.51 and 4.0 servers. We used SMS (Systems Management Server) to update NT workstations with various software packages.
