I managed a small group of volunteers speard out the state of FL including at as many as 4 subcommittees. the Section won a AWWA Section Youth Education award in 2010 for the Model Water Tower Contest. This contest is managed by the PAC as a state contact to help get new contests off the ground and manage the existing contests - their needs, issues, and successes. During my time as chair, the Section also won a Youth Education grant from the SWFWMD. This grant paid for a project to help volunteers during the great american clean up understand how fertilizer use effects watershed water quality int the Tampa Bay area. I was a member of the PAC for 4 years before becoming chair - 2 years as PAC Secretary and 2 years as the MWTC state chair.
