I am the Manager of End User Services that encompasses network and security for all users. I serve as part of the IT leadership for the privately held medical device manufacturer that provides solutions to many of the global medical device companies in the area.I manage the team that supports end users and their devices. I do this with my technical skills and broader business knowledge. My team is focused on the end-user and we deliver technology that supports the business at every level. I maintain alignment of the team with the changing priorities with metrics and reporting to provide transparency to the expectations. I also share this information with the business leaders to demonstrate our value to the organization.I work onsite and remotely to lead my team. I do this as a technical leader and champion of continuous improvement in how we do things. Some of my results in this role include:• Lead, train, and develop the end user team that manages all hardware and accounts for the employees. • Identified and implemented security improvements including the implementation of multiple systems and redundancies to improve processes. • Championed the implementation of the helpdesk system Service Desk Plus to improve user experience. • Own the security and backup programs for the regulated company including RMM and MDM platforms. • Monitor and remediate security events with strong knowledge of ITIL and best practices.

I joined the major manufacturing company as a lead security engineer. I worked as part of the global enterprise to provide information security initiatives for the company that provides highly regulated materials to clients in government contracting, aerospace, and medical device. I provided security oversight and technical leadership to the projects within this matrixed, global enterprise.My role also included designing and improving the enterprise architecture. This included identifying and implementing the best practices to enable the business with its technology and information security. I strove to improve the reliability of the systems through a scalable architecture that supported theenterprise. I also managed the end-to-end implementation of solutions from gathering requirements and post-deployment improvements. I worked remotely in this role and found great success in the position. I only left the role as I was recruited for a leadership opportunity with Nuvaira. As the Senior Network Administrator, I joined the medical device manufacturer shortly after its acquisition by Stryker to lead network projects. My role was focused on creating and delivering on the technical project plans. I led the cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle while also adapting through periods of change. My technical skills enabled me to fill in wherever needed to support my teams. I regularly configured security and network architecture during this time while also leading my teams through network initiatives. I also translated the technical details into actionable insights as the link between the business stakeholders and end users. Results during this time were:• Led multiple enterprise migrations including email spam filters, firewalls, and system updates. • Implemented switch security using port and VLAN isolation. • Spearheaded the replacement of all Palo Alto firewalls with Cisco ASAs.
