Supported A*STAR’s international outreach through pursuing new companies and maintaining strategic relationships with industry partners with the aim of anchoring value-creation activities in Singapore. Facilitated high-level engagement and dialogue with industry leaders and key opinion leaders.

Managed and developed public-private R&D partnerships with key industry accounts Developed a specialty chemicals technology roadmap for Singapore through a multi-agency effort. Heavily involved in coordinating across multiple government agencies, both academia and industry R&D performers in Singapore, as well as engaging top management of industry to seek validation.Developing a business model to catalyse the synthetic biology industry in Singapore, utilizing the Lean Launchpad method under direct mentorship from Jerry Engels.

Led the industry engagement for A*STAR's Biomass to Chemicals programme by developing value propositions and partnering with strategic clients in US, EU and Asia to form R&D collaborations. Involved from strategic partnerships to contract negotiations. Raised ICES profile in Singapore through cultivating long term partnerships with SMEs and regional chemical players. Instrumental in developing and transferring technology from ICES to local SMEs.
