I am a sophomore majoring in Professional Accountancy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. I'm highly motivated with a goal-oriented work ethic and a positive outlook. I aim for precision and consistency in every project and task by paying strict attention to minor details. With immense interest in the business world, I hope to explore it to acquire new knowledge and enhance my business skills continuously. Therefore, I have been looking for opportunities to gain deeper insight into business areas, including consulting, accounting and investment banking. During my internship in MINSHENG Securities last summer, I participated in two IPO projects. I was tasked to conduct due diligence investigation for the clients. I compiled and verified the financial transactions in collaboration with my colleagues by conducting walk-through testing for corporate purchases and sales, tests of controls for corporate's bank account activities and external confirmations with customers and suppliers. Consequently, all of the financial data in the prospectus and other papers to be filed to the Securities and Exchange Commission is correct and consistent with the facts. The experience provided me with first-hand experience in the banking and investments industry. I developed a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. My analytical and problem-solving skills have also been substantially improved. In the future, I aspire to expand my experience across different industries, especially investment banking, consulting and accounting. I am looking for an internship related to these areas, and I hope to obtain broader exposure to these industries with a deeper understanding and insight.
