• Cooperated the research in investigating the incidence, prevalence, and damage of Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. conglutinans on Chinese cabbage in Yanqing County, Beijing.• Evaluated the effect of fungicides Thiram and o-allylphenol on four important wheat soilborne pathogens (Rhizoctonia cerealis, Gaeumannomyces graminis, Bipolaris sorokiniana, and Fusarium graminum).• Identified Alternaria spp., Fusarium spp., and Bipolaris spp. associated with wheat seed samples from different regions.• Developed consistent inoculation and evaluation systems of wheat sharp eyespot and take-all diseases in the growth chamber and greenhouse. • Assessed the synergistic effect of different combinations of Thiram and o-allylphenol on the growth of Rhizoctonia cerealis and Gaeumannomyces graminis. • Observed morphological changes of Rhizoctonia cerealis and Gaeumannomyces graminis caused by fungicides via fluorescence microscopy. • Composed 20% Thiram•o-allylphenol seed coating formulation (T•O SCF) and developed the method of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to analyze the content of its active ingredients. • Studied effects of 20% T•O SCF on seed germination and seedling growth and control against wheat common diseases.
