This magnetic hyperthermia project focused on the optimisation of magnetic hyperthermia heating efficiency to induce maximum cell death using a bespoke MRI-compatible radiofrequency coil. I learnt to operate a thermal imaging camera for a non-invasive, contactless real-time monitoring of heat delivery across the cell culture (sw1222 luc+) when a thermoseed is subjected to an alternating current (AC) magnetic field during magnetic hyperthermia.
