I teach my students about US History, geography, politics, economics, and culture. I follow state mandated TEKS to integrate current events into my lessons and also facilitate healthy debates and engaging classroom discussions.

At August Culture, I am the head of the Editorial Department. My job is to oversee my department of four additional writers. We post two articles per person per month. These articles range from a variety of topics and garner multiple readers a post. I work with my team to ensure their growth and the quality of the work produced.

I currently teach 7th grade TX History for the 2021-2022 school year. I manage about 160 students per school year and teach all levels, from Inclusion to Pre-AP.

From working on inventory of thousands of dollars of merchandise to display, to engaging with customers for their needs, I helped the sales team consistently perform at the top 5 of our region. I was a top performer in my job, as I hit 95% of my weekly target goals. This role was a great way for me to network with great people who helped me grow as an individual.
