I am a professional conference organiser based in Nairobi, with regional experience in Morocco, Tanzania, and South Africa. I am the Founder and MD of Waridi Events Limited, a leading African Corporate Events Management agency, and co-founder of The Events Academy and Pneuma Audiovisual Limited.With 17 years of experience in corporate events management, I have led Waridi Events in serving global brands like Google, Coca-Cola, and Microsoft. Our services have expanded to Rwanda and Tanzania, establishing us as a regional leader in the industry.In 2019, I co-founded The Events Academy, a training institute dedicated to event planners and event business owners. We provide practical, professionally designed courses with a localised curriculum to help develop the next generation of event professionals.In 2022, I co-founded Pneuma Audiovisual Limited, a company specialising in conference event production and providing comprehensive audiovisual support services.Throughout my career, I have been recognised for my entrepreneurship role in the events industry. I was honoured as a Sinapis 2016 Fast Track Fellow and a finalist in the 2015 Sinapis Business Plan Competition. Additionally, I was selected for the Goldman Sachs 10000 Women Programme and nominated as an Exemplary MICE Female Leader.I have served on the UAP Old Mutual Future Forum advisory board and I am a founding board member of AKBE (Association of Business Events Kenya).
