Repod is an incubated project by UC Berkeley x Schoolab, Learn2Launch Innovation Program, in partner with Hass business school. During six months of mentoring of start-up creation and practicing in the real market, I founded my team of 3 with French and American talents. We proposed to create self-service napping pods to facilitate being recharged at workplace. Practices:- Customer discovery, design thinking, prototyping, go-to-market strategy, market sizing, financial projection, investment, pitch. - Round tables with management team in top tech company & startup (Google, Airbnb, Tesla, etc)- Conducted 200+ meetings with managers and employees to identify the market pain point- Customer discovery analysis from potential users and pivoted once - Prototype design (Self-service nap pod) and did 150+market tests to improve product- Built network with 350+ investors and entrepreneurs in Bay Area- Market sizing and financial projection modeling- Business plan and pitch to investors in Silicon ValleyThoughtsThis unique experience allowed me to further explore myself as student-entrepreneur and equipped me with stronger professional skills and entrepreneur spirit: autonomy, resistance, pressure management and the mentality to passionately "live under the uncertainty".
