My name is Wanqing Peng. I am a junior student majoring in business accounting at Australia Victoria University. My short-term goal is to study for a master's degree in global management at the University of Queensland after finishing my undergraduate study this year. After graduation, I want to work in human resource management in a foreign company. During my undergraduate, I worked as an intern in Shandong Cross-border E-commerce Association. Internships are indispensable for graduates, not only to cultivate and exercise personal ability, but also to learn hard and soft skills. Dixon, Belnap, Albrecht and Lee describe hard skills as "including technical or administrative procedures that can be quantified and measured" (p. 35).My hard skills include computer skills and Risk and budget assessment ability, etc. Soft skills are described as interpersonal, human and human, or behavioral skills men "to apply the technical skills and knowledge in the workplace. (Weber, Finely, Crawford, & Rivera, .p.356) In terms of soft skills, I participated in the preparation of a large conference during the internship. Through my internship, I have proven my ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. I am very organized. I keep a diary of tasks and review them every day. I also learned how to get along and communicate with colleagues and leaders, and edit formal written documents.My Personal values are Confidence, Passion, Respect and humility, Persistence and Self-reflection. These can lead to success in future work.
