Profile bio

About Brian Wansolich

I have been blending design, technology, and strategy for nearly 20 years. From the automotive industry, through the novel world of tech, to the green fields of the cannabis industry, I've had my hands in all sorts of design pots. I love using design to crack complex problems, spot new chances for growth, and craft experiences online that you won’t easily forget.Professionally, I specialize in full stack, graphic, print, digital, UI/UX, and web design with a focus on creating intuitive and friendly interfaces, making navigation easy for diverse audiences, and providing moments of delight to keep users engaged and business growing. As a co-founder and lead designer of two technology startups in the cannabis industry, I’m proud to have used design to reduce the stigma, demystify, and educate audiences on the vast range of products in the market. I built entire brand identities from end to end, creating cohesive style guides, voices, and visuals across social and web platforms to establish influential and authoritative companies at launch. As the Design Head at Leafly, I developed a visual system replicating the periodic table of elements that helped users identify and understand cannabis strains and assigned each product with its own URL which elevated SEO to achieve several top results, leading to rapid audience growth and brand awareness.I also pioneered the company vision and digital assets for Headset and through the continuous improvement of the website’s user interface, user experience, and the creation of strategic social media content, conversion and retention rates continue to grow.I’m passionate about training and mentoring Junior Designers on the technical and psychological aspects of design. I love working with up-and-coming designers, helping them expand their skills, and collaborating to complete unique and ever-changing design projects on a regular basis.I look forward to continuing to explore these passions and discovering how we can work together.
