The scope of this project is about design, engineering, procurement & construction of a gas farm/SNG plant, carry out testing & commissioning & delivery of a system that is fully operational including the O&M manuals & the warranty for the system in compliance with the tender drawings, tender specification & all the applicable documents within the tender. I oversee the implementation of Lusail Real Estate Development Company LREDC Construction-HSE General Requirements for this project.

I managed the entire Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Plan for the project:'Construction, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning, Turnkey Project for Fit-Out, Interior, furniture, equipment and signage for the new Primary Health Care Corporation Headquarters' in Doha Qatar; a Qatar Government Project consisting of two high rise buildings.My duties included among others to;• Work closely with senior management to develop, update and implement the HSE plan for the Construction Project of the Primary Health Care Corporation Headquarters building in Doha.• Keep regular update of the Project’s Emergency Response and Evacuation Plan• Manage subcontractors and ensure strict respect for project site rules and other safety requirements• Make request to management for safety material as required• Maintain and provide accurate statistical data, reports and analysis of injury trends and take measures towards corporate accident reduction goals.• Patrol the site periodically to identify hazards and propose corrective measures• Study and implement all MSDS and WHMIS requirements • Organize and conduct trainings to site engineers, supervisors, foremen and safety officers as required• Manage a team of safety, first aid, firefighting and security Personnel on site • Maintain OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO14001 Certifications and conduct periodic audits as required.• Responsible for driving success in accident prevention through implementation of Company programs to promote and improve Occupational Health and Safety.• Ensure compliance with legislation such as QCS 2014, Qatar labor law No.14 of 2004, Industry Guides and clients requirements.• Attend external meetings as a company representative, ( Ministry of Labor, clients and consultants)

I carry out inspections, training and audit activities in various building, infrastructure and oil and gas projects according to best practice standards. Duties include:•Conducts periodic visits to company sites and labor camps in Shahaniya and Umm Salal Mohamed to identify deficiencies and propose corrective measures•Conduct audits of various sites to verify Petroserv-Limited IMS implementation, QCS 2014 and other local and international legislative compliance•Issues safety violation reports, and Non Compliance reports as necessary•Follow up corrective actions and report to company IMS Representative and QHSE Department head•Identify training needs and Organize regular training for company Safety Department staff•Take part in coordination meetings and audit planning meetings

I worked here as Lead HSSE Engineer overseeing the more than two thousand employees working on the Qatar Olympic Committee's Project; CONSTRUCTION OF THE MULTIPURPOSE HALL AT AL SADD SPORTS CLUB in Doha Qatar. My responsibilities among others included;to Conduct EH &S induction and training to new workers in the project, including company staff and contractors' workers so that they are acquainted with safety requirements, safe work practices, and procedures. Monitor subcontractor compliance with applicable EH &S requirements. File EH &S performance reports, and other EH &S reports as required by project. Advise Project HSE Manager of hazardous conditions/concerns or near-miss incidents. Assist in facilitating and/or conducting accident/incident investigations. Verify and update all required EH &S postings, warnings and signs applicable to the project work/hazards. Verify that all personnel who must enter controlled areas are qualified to do so. Verify that emergency numbers, including physicians and hospital locations, are valid and posted, and these emergency services have access to the field site. Prevent and correct safety and health issues through job safety / risk analysis. Collect and report safety performance data and statistics. Establish construction safety training requirements and training materials. Ensuring contractors and workers maintain safety awareness at all times. Implementing safety programs for the project.

I was one of those in charge of delivering training on the cooperation's environmental aspects, and impact mitigation, and on the health and safety issues of the personnel and visitors. I equally gave inductions and training to onshore and offshore personnel notably on underwater escape procedure, sea survival, fire fighting and use of breathing apparatus.
