Major Responsibilities & Abilities- Assist Plant Manager in providing oversight of and direction to all mission critical programs and processes such as performance management, outage management, project management and asset integrity.- Ensure high plant reliability and overall cost competitiveness, without compromise to employee safety or environmental commitments.- Promote productivity and teamwork with open communication, timely decision making, and use of leadership skills to set high standards of performance.- Assist in the operation of Power plant and auxiliary equipment in safe and efficient manner.- Assist in the maintenance and overhaul of generators, all the equipment in the power house and associated control room.- Attended several breakdowns and Scheduled maintenance.- Update history records of all the generators and scheduled maintenance- Maintained adequate operational records and reports on monthly and yearly using diesel fuel. - Ability to handle all hand tools and test equipment.- Work under limited to no supervision.- Independently prioritizes and executes responsibilities.- Provide management direction in the absence of the Plant Manager.- Carries out all the chemical testing on water treatment required in the plant.- Organized several workshops on water treatment and on equipment safety for efficient working and safe work environment.- Maintains order and cleanliness in the power house and associated control room.
