Systems included D-SCADA, GIS, and SAP IS-U /ERP framework - focus on setting up the Enterprise Asset Management regime comprising of linear and non-linear assets. Plan and implement technological interventions for the distressed utilities - distribution sub-sector. The solution-oriented approach is funded by USAID and focuses on utilizing the latest technologies for bringing improvement to the entire value chain. Key activities are as follows:Implementation of Meter Data Management system- The USAID intervention is focused on upgrading the AMI landscape with the introduction of the Meter Data Management application to act as a lighthouse for multiple smart meter headends / MDCs. - Authored the ESB data layer document specifying the structures of grid and meter profiles to be made available as an add-on over headends/MDCs on a unified structure for seamlessly establishing communication with the MDM system. Preparation of specifications was carried out with active consultations from Power Information Technology Company (PITC), NTDC, and the leading meter manufacturers. - Development of Smart Grid Sandbox environment at WAPDA House, Lahore, funded by USAID, with the objective to enable PITC in conducting PoC with vendors over their smart grid products.

Deputed as ‘Technology Lead’ at Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution, Nigeria.PHED distributes electric power to four states of Nigeria• Led the I.T team in supporting the business processes by introducing the latest technologies with the objective to turn around the distressed utility. • Implemented U-Vision Billing system as Project Manager to centralized the billing function and with replacing the old billing systems.• Developed EDM dashboard using Qlikview for providing insight to Management on Grid Quantitative & Prescriptive analytics. • Developed Revenue dashboard using Qlikview to provide real-time statistics of payments at multiple touch-points with Predictive analytics.• Added Value Added Services channels for consumers through electronic and mobile touch-points to facilitate consumer interaction leading to an increase in the collection efficiency by 15%.• Implemented the Network Status Information System to facilitate the Distribution Team with registering the faults, maintain the network hierarchy and to perform the energy data management.
