With over 20 years of professional experience, I'm currently Team Leader / Senior Design Manager with Dar Al-Handasah Consultants (Shair and Partners), where I'm handling the Construction Administration Services for a range of packages at Hamad International Airport Expansion Project (HIAEP). I was previously extensively involved in a wide range of multidisciplinary projects, covering airport facilities and buildings, prestigious urban developments, educational and mixed-use complexes, 5-star hotels (extension and rehabilitation), leisure/entertainment centres, sports facilities, parking and service buildings, offices and residential towers and high rise buildings, and others.The range of my intervention in such projects starts from pre-conceptual design up to working drawings, detailing and general follow-up. Furthermore, I'm well versed in the coordination of project activities with other trades, clients and project stakeholders, follow-up on design tasks, preparation of technical reports and documentations, etc. Also my intervention spans to include coordination with quantity surveyors and contractors to maintain the project's budget and schedule.I'm keen on solving and creating functional aesthetic and technical solutions for various design projects. Participating in the contract management and design coordination with the client, sub-consultants, contractor and quantity surveyor in addition to involvement in the architectural design, presentation and planning for the following projects: - Dubai International Airport Expansion (Phase III) - Concourse 4 and Associated Projects: The new Concourse D (~150,000m2), for the Dubai International Airport, will be designed to fully accommodate foreign airline carriers’ passengers for around 3000 peak passenger/hour for arriving and departing passengers and their related service needs in a seamless operation with the existing airport facilities and functions. To accomplish this all operation aspects are being considered to cater for the passengers flow and movements through APM link to Terminal 1. As well as designing all support, Back of House, ground services areas for Concourse operation and satisfying all stakeholders’ requirements.- Terminal 1 Upgrade- Concourse D - Terminal 1 APM system and civil works- Al Maktoum International Airport: The major components of the AMI development are: * Five parallel runways * Processing Terminals at East and West ends. * Four satellite Concourses – each of 100 contact gates. * Comprehensive internal APM system. * Landside road and rail connections.The development of AMI will be in two phases: * Phase 1 of the Central Terminal Area (CTA) development to be completed in 2021 to cater for 130 million annual passengers. * Ultimate Phase to be achieved in 2045 with an ultimate capacity of 220 million annual passengers.The primary aim of the AMI development will be to provide a transfer based airport that reflects Emirates Airline business model. Emirates Airline plans to relocate from DI to AMI in a single move so that this transfer model can be retained. This will avoid the issue of organizing transfers of passengers between both airports.

The project also comprises 194,000m² external praying piazzas accommodating 314,000 worshipers; a service building accommodating 2 helipads and a 110,000m² praying area at its roof level for 165,000 worshipers; several bridges (total of 42,750m²) linking the new building to the service building and to the existing Holy Haram.- Burj Al Baher Complex - Design and Technical Assistance, Libya: Detailed design, tender documents and technical assistance during construction for a mixed-use commercial and tourist complex with a total built-up area of 92,350m², divided into three towers and a multi-storey podium. A 29 storey 5-star hotel, 26 storeys high residential apartments and 19 storeys high offices.- Burj Algathafi (Algathafi Tower), Libya: Preliminary and final designs and project management for an office tower. The tower consists of 53 levels (height of 210m) with a total built-up area of 147,000m².

Works comprise: a new multi-level mega terminal with a built-up area of 115,000m², multi-storey car-parking facility (built-up area of 35,000m²).- New Terminal Building at Sharm El-Sheikh Airport, Egypt. Design and construction documents for a new Terminal Building with a total built-up area of 43,000m², handling 2,500 pax/hour.- National Archive, Luanda, Angola: Design and for the Government’s National Archive building with a total built-up area of 42,000m² on a site area of 60,000m².- Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel, Tower "C", Lebanon: Design and tender documents for a 16 floor tower.
