Information Security and Enterprise Mobility Management Practice Leader Taos is a technology consulting and services company that offers expertise across the strategic, management and tactical layers of IT and engineering organizations. My role at Taos, as part of the Office of the CIO (OCIO) consulting practice and as Practice Leader for Information Security and enterprise Mobility Management, was to engage with our clients in an advisory role to assess their current approach to enabling the business via technology and provide insight to better leverage and protect the investments they have made. Engagements focused on insourcing retransition, identity and access management, mobile device management (MDM), vulnerability assessment and remediation, information security governance and information security and privacy program development.

ECCOgen is the parent company for the ECCOcard solution and for MyCashlessCampus.com which provides cashless point-of-sale (POS) systems to private K-12 schools across the country. Integrated management solutions provide smartcard or biometric authientication to students' accounts for purchases in the cafeteria, the bookstore, tuition payments, fieldtrips, etc. while parents gain complete visibility into and management over their child's purchases.As Director of Operations and Technology and Interim CTO (under Osborne Consulting), I provided strategic and functional support for the development of the core product, the operational processes and the development of individual resources within the organization.During my tenure as Interim CTO we reengineered the core product from an on-prem solution with significant scaling and support challenges to a cloud-based, multi-tenant solution with greatly increased security, functionality and reliability.Additional growth and productivity gains were realized from initiatives including expansion of the internet presence of the core product, formalization of operational processes, improved security integration and increased communication channels with the customer base.
