About Ronald Ward Faicd
My background is diverse having worked in several sectors but primarily in transport and logistics; passenger transport and waste management. In November 2013 after four years running my own business consultancy, I returned to a full-time corporate executive role as Business Manager/Financial Administrator of the Catholic Archdiocese of Hobart. In that capacity apart from my 'day job', I sat ex officio on numerous Church connected boards, commissions, and committees. I retired from this role in mid-March 2020 and returned to part-time consultancy work along with some board appointments both remunerated and pro bono. In my work and personal endeavors, I have always emphasised the sustainability of outcomes, underpinned by a triple-bottom-line approach and significantly influenced by the Christian ethos. Having worked for several decades in various industries and sectors in both Australia and overseas, I have significant business experience and a broad range of skills and capabilities across most aspects of management and governance. In April 2024 I stepped down from my remaining board role as a director of Kicksrat Arts Inc. My sole remaining business activity is as a member of the Notre Dame Benedictine Priory Finance Advisory Committee.
