In this role, you are responsible for managing a variety of administrative and operational tasks essential for the smooth execution of construction projects. Your duties include preparing and maintaining accurate submittal logs and punch lists based on project drawings and specifications, ensuring timely receipt and approval of submittals from architects, engineers, or creative teams. You are accountable for preparing, reviewing, and processing RFIs, maintaining RFI logs, and keeping these inquiries aligned with the project schedule. Additionally, you manage all correspondence with project stakeholders such as architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers. Proactively during the construction phase, you ensure project objectives are met regarding quality, schedule, budget, and safety through diligent management and tracking of project performance. You also inform management about productivity, costs, quality control, and safety issues, and handle the distribution of project directives, including drawings and specifications. Organizing construction meetings, taking minutes, and tracking building permit applications are also key responsibilities.
