March 2024 – April 2024 Coached the leadership team @SEDA Healthcare Solutions a woman owned medical supplies company in Kenya. The team gained common strategic focus and discovered a niche in their industry.

The Feed the Future Kenya Investment Mechanism (KIM) is a five-year (2018-2023) project that has unlocked USD 560 million investments into agriculture, energy, health, trade, infrastructure, water and sanitation sectors. The program has achieved this by addressing supply-side, demand-side, and enabling environment-related constraints to investment.My current priorities include:• Ensuring successful achievement of all life of program targets • maintaining a motivated and engaged team towards closeout • effective communication of the programs impact• effective liaison with key partners and stakeholders that include USAID and Government of Kenya • Business development and greater impact into the future

Provided Support to the Chief of Party (COP) in the successful management of all programmatic and administrative functions. Key focus of the period included: • managing the activities of the Business Advisory Support (BASP) function. Supported the team in streamlining processes in BASP management. • Led the technical team in reviewing our Year 5 activities and submission to USAID of the Y5 plan.• Successfully managed the USD 400,000 Sub Award to Strathmore Business School to provide capacity building of BASPs in Kenya.• Successfully supervised the Human Resource Consultant in the process of building a positive work culture within the KIM team.

• Led SPARK teams in Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan• Supported the setting up of a Loan Guarantee Fund for digital finance to farmers in partnership with a Fintech and Commercial Bank• Oversaw the inception of a Euro 3 million Covid-19 MSME Support Project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC)• Supported the orientation of programming to Market System Development

• Deputized the COP in the management of the five year USD 13 million, USAID Feed the Future Cooperative Agreement. Targeted 125,000 beneficiaries in Agriculture, Nutrition and financial inclusion. Project exceeded all targets. • Led implementation of the Rural Finance Strategy and was in charge of Annual Work plans, Staff recruitment, Program Quality Assurance and support to Business Development.• In 2014 led the formation of the Rwanda Quarterly Savings Groups Practitioners Forum which exists to date and has enabled digital reporting of data See SG Map https://sg.bnr.rw/• Led private sector engagement in market research and product development partnering withKCB Rwanda, Duterimbere MFI and Coopec Inkhunga MFI to develop five products. • Led the development of Global Communities Financial Education Curriculum, presented on print and radio and brokered a partnership with the Rwanda Peace Corps Volunteers for delivery to rural communities and youth.

Products developed and rebranding of two SACCOs - Maua Methodist SACCO to MMH SACCO and Masaku Traders SACCO to Universal Traders SACCO.
