My name is Lucy Waring and I am the Senior Engagement and Relationships Officer at Lifelites - a charity that supports palliative care children’s hospices by harnessing innovative technology to empower children with life-limiting conditions. I was previously the Philanthropy Officer at the Royal Academy of Music in London, working in Higher Education fundraising, specialising in creative arts.I am a graduate of The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 2014 (First Class Honours), followed by a Master of Music in 2015. My passion for opera led me back to Guildhall in 2017, where I completed an Advanced Certificate in Opera Studies.Upon leaving Guildhall in March 2019, I joined the Glyndebourne Festival Chorus for the Summer and later toured with them in the Autumn/Winter season. These experiences have enriched my understanding of the arts and the importance of supporting creative endeavours.I am known for my hardworking and reliable nature, thriving both in team settings and independently. My excellent organisational skills ensure a structured and productive approach to managing my responsibilities. I am known for my enthusiasm and effective communication and I connect easily with individuals at all levels. I am always eager to contribute, take direction well, and take pride in delivering a job well done.
