In US-IT Testing we are responsible for testing New POS, which includes end to end process of ordering in McDonalds Stores. This is done and achieved by setting up store like environment in the labs, using the devices and hardware used in actual McDonalds stores across US. The testing is done on around 40 labs by around 120 testers, wherein each lab is a replica of a real McDonalds Store. Maintenance of McDonalds Labs. Maintaining Inventory of new, faulty and in use devices. Managing a team of around 120 testers. Overseeing quality-assurance testing and teams for client software and systems development projects. Performed system, unit, performance, load, regression, stress and data interface testing. Provided client developer teams with detailed reports on quality metrics, identified bugs/flaws and recommended fixes. Primary client contact for Lab Management & Inventory and liaising with them on daily basis. Single Point of contact for receiving and sending devices between US and India. Setting up new labs, whenever required. Procurement of new lab devices and coordinating with higher management for the approvals of purchase orders and work orders. Coordinating with Admin, Security teams and Vendors to get the work done. Maintain communication and alignment between all stakeholders. Also responsible for civil, electrical and networking related work. Manage SLA’s (Service Level Agreement).
