As Cybersecurity Manager, I lead the organization’s cybersecurity operations and strategy to protect critical assets and data. My responsibilities encompass managing endpoint security, data loss prevention (DLP), identity and access management (IAM), network access control, and network security. I oversee Security Operations Center (SOC) activities to ensure effective threat detection and incident response. Additionally, I implement robust user awareness programs, fostering a culture of security within the organization. Through strategic cybersecurity program management, I work with my team to align security initiatives with business goals, continuously improving the organization’s security posture.

As the ISMS Manager, I am responsible for enhancing CSCS' cyber and information security by ensuring compliance with the ISO 27001:2022 Standard and a host of other security processes, procedures, and tools. My key duties include:- Incident Response and Remediation: Handling breaches, analyzing root causes, and initiating remediation.-Security Monitoring and Investigation: Monitoring critical systems, investigating issues, and reporting findings.-Vulnerability Testing and Assessments: Identifying network and system vulnerabilities.- Compliance and Training: Ensuring compliance with training programs and security audits.- Security Awareness: Conducting security awareness programs and simulations.- Incident Response Planning: Developing and maintaining incident response plans and playbooks.

•Enterprise endpoint monitoring via XDR (Extended Detection & Response) and NAC (Network Access Control) tools.• Carry out incident response activities with respect to breaches, and /or persistent threats, root causes analysis, and proffer, and initiate remediation procedures.• Monitor the security of critical systems, investigate, remediate, and report on irregularities discovered.• Perform tests and assessments to uncover network and system vulnerabilities.• Ensure compliance through adequate training programs and periodic security audits.• Facilitate security awareness programs and simulations for the enterprise.• Intelligence gathering for organizational systems via open-source threat intelligence platforms that help with security assessment and awareness.• Creation of cybersecurity incident response plan, procedure, and playbooks.
