As head of R&D for antibody development and production, I am leading the research and production department using high-throughput sequencing of B cells and screening of candidate antibodies as a fast way to discover new mouse and rabbit antibodies for use in IVD clinical diagnostics on patient tissue slides.We have set up and are continuously improving a pipeline for rapid antibody identification, antibody production and quality management for IVD diagnostics.After development, we produce the antibodies, perform verification and validation of their performance, transfer them into routine production and carry out necessary clinical validation procedures including technical documentation according to IVDR.Another major task is ongoing large-scale production of antibodies for clinical histology/pathology in vitro diagnostics, always securing product performance according to high quality standards.
