I am a highly motivated construction professional with over 41 years of construction experience, 25 years being in project management and planning. I am happy to work independently or as part of a team. I started my career as a carpenter and worked on a wide range of projects from commercial new builds and refurbishment projects such as colleges, hotels, offices as well as domestic property refurbishment and new builds. I also became involved with civil projects such as bridge construction, sewage works, MOD and road construction where I became a General Foreman. With this knowledge I progressively worked my way through different levels of site management eventually becoming a Project Manager for S Dudley & Sons in 2002 where I first developed an interest in planning. In 2003 I joined Pearce (Now Isg) as a Construction Manager and further developed a flare for planning eventually being offered a planning role in 2006. During my time with Isg I have developed my skills with Asta PowerPoject to produce fully logic linked programmes, incorporating design and procurement, the client key dates, site team's comments and working with the sub contractor, coordinating their programmes into the master programme, all of which is backed up with data. This has allowed me to use the programme to highlight project risk and opportunities during the tender, pre construction and delivery stages of the project. During the project I support the whole of the team with regular progress meetings which allows me to highlight any potential issued and discuss alternatives to allow the programme to be maintained.
