Warren Doudle is both the Director of Sec Risk a boutique risk management company with its office in Perth, Australia and a Senior Lecturer of Security Science at Edith Cowan University in Perth. A highly experienced professional with well over two decade’s experience, an overview of Warren’s career illustrates a professional with a unique and dynamic skill set. Commencing in the Australian Army, Warren’s 12 years of full time service developed strong leadership and interpersonal skills dedicated to team progress, this period affirmed Warren’s capacity to lead and manage big culturally diverse teams and substantial projects.Warren’s career has also been built upon an ongoing commitment to education. A graduate of Edith Cowan University (BSc Security), the Australian Institute of Business (MBA), and in 2018 he was awarded his PhD from the University of Notre Dame in Western Australia.He is a Certified Practicing Risk Manager (CPRM) with RMIA, a Graduate of the Company Directors Course (GAICD) and a member and an Australian Computer Society Certified Professional. After transferring to the ADF Reserve in 2005, Warren worked as a Manager with Osprey Asset Management between 2005-2009 in Iraq, before then returning to work within the Asian region as Exxonmobil's Logistics Advisor and Manager within Papua New Guinea. Within this period Warren led the upstream logistics and infrastructure team of 9 departments within Exxonmobil, realigned multiple service contracts resulting in a 15% cost saving, and conducted a supply chain review that resulted in a $1.1 million saving. In 2015 Warren transitioned to a new role with Sec Risk as the Managing Director and Senior Consultant. Warren’s serves a small select boutique list of clients requiring expertise, insight and advice in setting business direction within his niche spheres of the management field. This role has provided Warren a chance to utilise skills built over an entire career as a leader, innovator, and professional dedicated to delivering outstanding results to clients throughout every aspect of his role. Most recently Warren has been supporting landowner companies in PNG doing business with international companies on projects. Development and implementation of local content plans, nationalisation and capacity building, and strategic government interface for organisations and strategic support at the board level for companies in the resource industry.
