This role allows me to develop our key insurance comparison products by introducing new features and changes to make it easier for Australians to understand insurance products, then compare and save.Significant time is spent analysing and designing digital solutions for the web, mobile apps, online services, and integration with large scale enterprise systems.In parallel the focus is marketing and maximising our site traffic via SEO, email marketing, social and media releases.I work closely with our partners to maximise their and our revenue, sharing ideas to make the products and services more compelling and making it easier for customers to complete their purchases.

In recent years I have specialised in product development and portfolio management, market place disruption and innovation and have also devoted time to improving technical pricing, claims processing and risk management. I have worked alongside senior leaders of several of Australia's best known banking and travel organisations and have developed customised end-to-end solutions that have increased customer satisfaction and retention, maximised commission revenue and profit.

As General Manager for Product and Underwriting I am responsible for the product development, pricing and underwriting of travel insurance products for Australia and New Zealand. I lead experienced team managers in the manufacture of products for Allianz, for many national and international partners as well as local and Asia-Pacific airlines and other leading Australian brands.I and my team work closely with our partners and Account Managers to develop and then implement changes to maximise partner revenue while optimising profit margins for AGA. Our success comes as a result of our strong employee engagement and the strength of our working relationships. We deliver for our partners via the strategic development of AGA's suite of Travel Insurance products and the detailed analysis of category and partner performance which allows us to capitalise on our market leading pricing methodologies.
