https://www.twitch.tv/renderedsenseless/A Unity based live streamed talk show with unmatched levels of interactivity from the audience. Responsibilities include complex 3D game programming, novel (stream-based) multiplayer, and a variety of REST integrations including OpenAI GPT-3, stable diffusion, and the Poly Pizza model database. I am the sole programmer for the show.In Rendered Senseless, when a user types in the chat on Twitch.tv, they join the audience as a 3D character. They’re able to change this character to one of thousands of 3d models from the Poly Pizza API, or generate a character using ai if a 3d model doesn't exist yet.Users are also able to complete a variety of other interactions, such as clicking to move around, jumping, minigame-specific moves, and even ‘special attacks’. NLP is integrated such that written natural language can be used exclusively for character control, by human or AI actors alike, through a system which parses any text into actionable 'verbs' known to our engine. Rendered Senseless has also developed its own currency system based on user donations and watch time, which are tracked and stored in a JSON database.Rendered Senseless also utilizes integrations with Unity Render Streaming and WebRTC to allow remote control/streamed input to characters on the show, as well as remote streaming audio. Render Streaming was heavily customized to function properly with the show. The system is implemented with the dependency injection pattern, and week to week the latest in ai generation is integrated into the experience. These rapidly evolving text and image generation techniques are used in novel combination to create and iterate in ways that continue to shock our audience and team, producing undeniably one of a kind experiences. The games on the show are custom made, with bespoke, well-commented scripts being created for proper functionality. Also, I play the bird co-host. So there’s that.
