Propelling the Greater Tygerberg area and Bellville into the future, as a secondary city to Cape town, I am focused on facilitating the growth of this thriving region by partnering with local organisations, investors, and communities.Over the last three decades, I have held senior financial and CEO roles in the hospitality, retail and logistics industries, and this wealth of commercial experience and entrepreneurial skills are invaluable to my role. As the CEO of the Greater Tygerberg Partnership (GTP) it is my aim to build Bellville and surrounds where investors and citizens are thriving; where we realise its true potential as a hub of economic development with advanced infrastructure, sustainable land use and social integration. Over 350 000 citizens and 3500 SME’s are supported by a strong economic, education, healthcare, transport, and municipal infrastructure, cementing our reputation as a secondary city to Cape Town. For our continued success partnerships with the private and public sector, as well as communities, are integral to implementing a cohesive and unified plan. Our exciting projects such as the Trolley recycling initiative, Street store collections for the homeless, and the Zero Waste Challenge at DF Malan High School, are just some of the exciting ways we connect our communities.
