This is my 30th year at Los Angeles' Landmark First television station KTLA TV5. I am proud to have invested so much of my career here and for the continued success of the KTLA Morning News. I have specialized to a unique degree and this has granted me longevity. Now, as I look ahead to the next phase of my career, my goals are to take my skills and to grow them. The KTLA Morning News is on the air for 7 hours every weekday. I am an expert in Live TV weather and traffic segments and also in breaking news. There is a balance of information on a morning news broadcast and I have become proficient at finding and executing this pattern. The re-brand is also one of my strong suits. Having originally started with nothing and building a successful show, I enjoy the process of working with graphic designers and management to craft new segments and implement new state of the art broadcast equipment into the show. Additionally, training talent for on air work in weather and traffic has also become a major aspect of my career.I have produced two regular YouTube Shows. Street Cracks was the most widely viewed with over 40 episodes completed. The second show was a daily personal expose on my weight loss called Mars Mission. Producing digital content was a new experience for me. Generating show VIEWS and working with Social Media presents its own set of challenges for producers. Street Cracks definitely expanded my skills as I handled all of the production, editing and developed Social Media promotions for the series. I have expert level skills Adobe PHOTOSHOP, Adobe PREMIERE PRO, The Weather Co. MAX Weather and Traffic Systems, Sony Vegas Professional Editing, ENPS, Microsoft WORD, WINDOWS and INTERNET Edge, and many more.
