Casey to be a national Family to Family anchor site and later partnered with AEC and Duke Endowment to assess foster children's wellbeing. • Increased local capacity to serve foster children and dramatically reduced out of county placements of foster children • Developed and maintained an award-winning partnership with over 50 churches to recruit foster parents and to support families• Collaborated with Casey Family Programs and Children’s Home society to adapt Kevin Campbell’s model of Family Finding for use as children first enter foster care • During NC Mental Health Reform, led the development of Wake County’s first local business plan for MH/DD/SA services, completed required divestiture of Child Mental Health Services, and partnered with the new MCO to assure appropriate, evidence based services for Child Welfare families. • Partnered with the delinquency courts to assess the needs of youthful offenders and link them to appropriate services without taking custody from parents.
