I have worked in the field of counseling since 1994. I have been Executive Director of Cornerstone Clinical Associates since 1995. Over the years I have experienced many success as well as failures as a business owner, but have weathered the storms and remain a viable resource to the community. My agency provides individual, couples and family counseling. I have expertise in a wide range of areas, specializing in engaging the more difficult clients, mediation in custody and visitation issues and consultation with schools and organizations in the area of staff development, milieu management and managerial training. In addition to the traditional counseling modalities, I also provide Reunification Therapy in court cases where one or the other parent in a divorce situation is being alienated. Currently Parental Alienation is something being actively addressed in the courts and my background with couples and family counseling and working with families in the justice system has prepared me to be successful in addressing the needs of individuals and families and the courts related to these matters. In 2012 I released my first book, "Relax, It's Just Life! Finding Healthy Control Through Self-Acceptance." Available on Amazon Cornerstone also offers an objectivity as a result of the backgrounds of its staff. We have expertise in dealings with clients with multicultural issues, LGBTQ issues as well as helping clients with varied religious and socio-economic backgrounds. Working with this diverse clientele has led us to a more accepting and realistic view of others; one that nurtures a healthy and productive therapeutic relationship. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care, leading to increased growth, maturity, contentment and productivity in those we serve.
