I enjoy engaging with organisations on how to take a holistic approach to sustainable growth, encompassing all aspects of sustainability: people’s personal involvement, protecting the planet, and increasing financial and employee growth year after year. This goes a long way towards enhancing a more cohesive, productive workplace to encourage change for the right reasons.My experiences have taught me:• It's critical to understand the value and impact of the question ‘Why,’ as well as the importance of brand ambassadors within teams and organisations.• Great results are possible with innovation, cooperation, and a willingness to get on board to work together for a common direction and cause.• A supportive and inclusive culture inspires employees from all levels to take ownership and accountability for business performance, enabling companies to create positive, sustainable change.Some successes include:• AMP: I successfully created/implemented a process improvement that all offices in Australia, NZ, and the UK adopted.• Enviro-Mark Certification: On 22 November 2007, I was responsible for CatzDesign Ltd achieving Enviro-Mark Diamond Level Certification (5-level programme) within seven months. The first business in NZ to achieve this within this timeframe.• The development and implementation of the Rata Sustainable Certification Programme. Two-member win examples include:: After Bell Tea Coffee Company achieved Rata Certification, they secured supply agreements with various new business partners: Air New Zealand, Auckland City Council, and BP – Wildbean Cafes.: Ziera Shoes saved over $1 million in transport costs in one year by working with Rata and implementing the suggested business strategies.If my profile has piqued your interest – let’s chat.
