While we do offer welding, machining, saw/shearing and brake forming, my primary responsibilities are programming our four water jets, two lasers and oxyfuel/plasma cutting machines. I use the latest Autodesk programs including AutoCAD and Inventor to draw, alter and prep customer drawings as well as Sigmanest to send cut files to our aforementioned cutting machines. I am able to create simple drawings from brackets and flanges to fully assembled shop drawings including brake formed flat patterns. While I focus primarily on mechanical and architectural parts, often I also work with art and company signage using Adobe Illustrator to assist in these types of projects. Show less

Used AutoCAD 2010 to label fixture locations, create printable tables and draw fixtures for use in new store locations. Work included using x-ref's, design center, w-blocks, move, copy, paste and draw commands. Also created templates for department listings. Achieved a letter of recommendation due to strong aptitude, commitment and enthusiasm.

Transported materials and tools to various construction locations around the Puget Sound. Provided maintenance on a variety of different carpentry tools. Acted as a liaison between different vendors and management to provide quality customer service.

Provided support for customer and student needs. Wrote technical documents regarding step-by-step instructions to register students. Counseled students within the Continuing Education Fast Track program. Increased registration numbers in the program 73% by developing a marketing plan and making oral presentations weekly to perspective students.
